The heat begins

I was bemoaning the heat today and glanced at my tablet, only to find it was 85 degrees! No wonder I was hot!!

Moon

Pretty purple clouds

Finally got in the water again, with my friend. We were treated to two seals, one a baby!

Cornet fish

Above, Rock Mover Wrasse. I think I was using the wrong exposure, so didn't get great definition.
3 Spot Damsel

Rock Mover again. I pay close attention to them, as they are sometimes harassing the fishies.

Trunk fish
Raccoon Butterfly fish
Moorish Idol

Hawkfish

Snoozing on the beach.

Before the hills near Kekaha dry out.

I hadn't thought of these wheels of hay since Texas.

Little butterfly
Crown flowers

These flowers reminded me of a billowing dancing dress.
Lantana

This moth looks like wood, non?

Had an indoor visit from a lizard. Here you go, Alex! An early birthday present.
I am a bit nervous about the approaching heat of summer, but am somewhat comforted (and cooled) by star gazing in the night. And tomorrow morning, 5:40 a.m., the International Space Station will be passing overhead. And the Lyrid Meteor shower has already started, peaking on 4/21 and 4/22. I have seen 6 in the past two days. Go God!!
